I can never keep all those flower parts straight. Yesterday was definitely the day to photograph these flowers. The wind has been blowing since last night, and now almost all of the flowers are gone. The leaves are coming on the tree, and soon there will be baby apricots.

One of the many excellent things about working at home is that I look out my window to the back garden all day. That is to say, onto what will be the back garden someday. But right now, the apricot tree is in bloom, and I can watch a tree full of these lovelies sway gently in the breeze. The blossoms have been open for a little while now, and so a gust of wind will create a shower of faintly pink petals.
