No. 1 Water
Provincetown, MA
Pink
Leafy
From the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco.
Wistful
Also from the Conservatory of Flowers – the Butterfly Zone special exhibit. I found this so sad: several butterflies were desperately fluttering against the glass of an emergency exit door.
Lapping Lily Pads
Dan and I visited the Conservatory of Flowers last weekend, with some friends who were here from out of town. It was my first visit, and I really loved the aquatic plants room. I’ll be doing my best to keep posting regularly, but we’ve got a big move coming up in September. Things are pretty hectic around here!
Kayaks
A thunderstorm rolled through briefly during our afternoon in Provincetown. We took shelter on the back porch area of a small mall. These kayaks on racks were between us and the beach.
Found Collage: Boat Edition
From the side of a boat in dry dock at the Wellfleet Marina. I’ve been noticing a real bias towards orange in my life & photos recently. I’m not sure where it’s coming from; orange has never been one of my favorites…
Great Eggfly
I’ve kind of got butterflies on the brain… we went to see the Butterfly Zone exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco on Saturday. It’s a beautiful place, but the butterfly exhibit didn’t hold a candle to the one we saw in Massachusetts. This is another one from the Butterfly Place – a Great Eggfly.
Question Mark Butterfly
I think this is a “Question Mark” butterfly (Polygonia interrogationis). From the Butterfly Place in Westford, MA.
