The park around the corner from my mother-in-law’s house runs along a creek, which is lined with eucalyptus and oak trees. This is one of a set of shots I took while we we taking a walk with Dan’s grandmother.

Lady Jester
We went on a number of tours while in New Orleans, which is a bit unusual for us. One of them was of Mardi Gras World. This place produces most of the floats for the Mardi Gras parades, as well as for other parades around the country. The formal tour was a little bit on the cheesy side, but at the end they let us freely wander through the warehouse, with no restrictions on photography, They have quite a collection of floats and figures! I’ll be posting some more of these…need a little break from the mostly monochrome cemetary pics,…
