Tesselating Paving Stones

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on the print version of the travelogue from our honeymoon in Spain and Portugal. This project has dragged on, and I’m pleased to have it nearly done. One benefit of procrastinating on this has been that my color correction skills in Photoshop have improved quite a bit. I’m going back through the photos to touch up some of them, and figured I’d share a few here. These paving stones were on the Passeig de Gracia, in Barcelona.

My one successful roommate experience (aside from moving in with Dan, of course) was the year I lived with my friend Donna. We were both newly out of college, employed but broke, and always looking for cheap ways to have fun. Our friendship was originally forged by a series of road trips back home from school, and we kept up that tradition while we were roommates. Bright Laundry

So far, my blog posts have primarily been individual shots from my archives that were not specifically part of a bigger project. This photo is from my trip to Spain and Portugal; this is in the Bairro Alto district of Lisbon. In addition to trying to put some order to my masses of negatives and slides, I’ve also been working on a hard copy version of the travelogue from this trip.
