When Don and I headed out to Solvang, it was a rainy, blustery morning. By the time we got there, the rain had more or less stopped, and the flower boxes along the street were blanketed with sparkling raindrops. Made for more interesting photography than I was expecting to find there.

Pinks
The first cut flowers from my garden! Not grown from seeds, but still. So, let’s see, what have I been up to for the last three months? Christmas Cheer
My parents have a large, spectacular poinsettia on their hearth. We took many photos of it, and discovered that it is hard to capure this plant! Today was the last day of our vacation, we head home tomorrow. My brother returns with us to start work on the house and yard. My sister joins us in CA in about two weeks, making this a month-long sibling party. Woo hoo!
