Has the Rain Stopped Yet?
On our first full day in Chiang Mai, we got caught in a raging downpour on our way back to the house. It was kind of fun, actually. We we drenched after dashing less than a block to the house. When we got there, we saw this (good-sized) toad on the porch. He seemed to be waiting for the rain to stop so he could go on about his business.
Dragons on the Roofline
We’re back from 2-1/2 weeks in Thailand, spent mainly in Chiang Mai visiting friends, eating delicious food, and seeing all manner of amazing things. I’m still jetlagged and not really sleeping properly, and have the predictable post-flight ick. But, I’m excited to have a new set of photos to work on, and to get into the swing of a new workflow with Lightroom. This is one of the first photos I took, near the Warorot Market. The market is located in a place where the Yunnanese traders used to stop, centuries ago.
Overlap
Shooting and scanning have been scarce around here for the last month, and my reserves are very low. But, I’ll have a glut of new material in few weeks!

Golden Globes
My tomatoes were kind of a bust this year, but the golden cherry tomatoes are doing pretty well.
