These cheerful spring wildflowers are blooming again around here. I love how they come out while the weather is still grey and rainy, as if to say “hang on…spring’s coming, we promise!”

Boy, my posting totally fell apart this week… between re-organizing my workflow, visitors from out of town, and evening classes, the week evaporated. I’m off work on Friday, and I’m going to get this workflow stuff up & running or die trying!

Posting has been spotty this last week…my free time has been filled with dull, dull infrastructure work(implementing a new backup scheme! labeling and sorting countless archive DVDs!) and with the significantly more fun experience of having my old friend Al in town. I should be able to get back to the routine now.
Sutro Baths
Having a friend in from out of town is a good excuse to get out and see things you never get to otherwise. Al’s here for the Keith Jarrett concert tonight, and we spent yesterday exploring Cliff House, the Sutro Baths and the Sunset district.
